About Us
Metal Distributors Limited is a privately owned company
established in 1949 at Vancouver, B.C., Canada. From date of
inception to present, the company has been involved in the
manufacturing of various non-ferrous metal products with much
success. During this period, the company purchased and moved to
premises in Burnaby, B.C., a suburb of Vancouver where we still
operate as of today.
Metal Distributors Limited manufactures
non-ferrous metal products for many industries. Two of those being
the Plumbing and Construction Industries. Several years ago, we
entered the Marine Industry with our "Reliance" brand of Sacrificial
Anodes. Our success in the Marine Industry has helped our Company
experience significant growth. We are now considered to be a leader
in the field of Cathodic Protection in many different Industries.
Custom Die Casting
Metal Distributors has a fully equipped die casting facility
where all pleasure craft and commercial anodes are produced in
house. Our die-casting machines are automatic and range from 400 –
600 ton capacity. We also have our own fully equipped tool room
where all dies for the casting of parts are made.
Our own in-house QA program and
Laboratory facilities guarantees top quality products. Having our
own tool room and skilled technicians on staff, allows us to do our
own repair and maintenance on any of our equipment.
Metal Distributors offers complete customer service and
support from concept development, engineering, tool design to die
manufacturing, pressure die-casting, machining – vibratory and
de-burring, finish coating, assembly, packaging, and shipping - all
this under one roof.
Metal Distributors is also a member of The North American Die
Casting Association (NADCA) and along with our quality technical
staff assures our customer the best results possible.
